Primary School Support Assistant (Fixed Term until 16 August 2026) – PKC12941
£16,242 – £16,968 (This post is 24.8hrs term-time, 20hrs holidays – overall 23.6hrs annualised.)
Goodlyburn Primary School
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Support Assistant to join our School and Nursery office. The role is office based but may also involve supervision of children, administering first aid and organising play activities for children during break and lunchtimes.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be trustworthy, dedicated and maintain confidentiality at all times. You will also be competent in the use of IT systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
A knowledge of PKC Schools working systems, such as SEEMIs, PECOS and Parentpay, would be advantageous but in house training will be given.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team but also be able to work on your own initiative.
You must be professional when dealing with parents/carers, professional agencies and clients and be empathetic, caring and nurturing when interacting and supporting children and families.
Knowledge and commitment to deliver and improve service provision by keeping up to date with relevant legislation, processes and procedures, ensuring high standards are maintained is required.
