Main Purpose of the Role

We currently have the following opportunity: Painter, 2 Posts (Fixed Term until 31 May 2027) - PKC13318.

The Ruthvenfield Depot, Ruthvenfield Road, Inveralmond Industrial Estate, Perth is the contractual base; however, the post holder will be considered a mobile worker and start their working day from their home address. At Perth & Kinross Council, our painters ensure our housing stock is maintained, and all property repairs are carried out timeously whilst working efficiently for our tenants.

Working 37 hours each week, 8am - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 8am - 13:00 on Fridays, your work will include:

  • Planned painting/decoration works
  • Treatment of Condensation and Mould

You’ll work in our team of painters and other trades staff travelling throughout the stunning Perth and Kinross area in one of our fleet vehicles, so you will be required to hold a valid driving licence.

Skills & Experience Required

Must be a time served painter. You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
