Main Purpose of the Role

We currently have the following opportunity from August 2026: Teacher of Computing - PKC13768.

Kinross High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Computing to join our dynamic and supportive Technologies Faculty on a full-time, permanent basis. The post will start at the beginning of the 2026–27 academic session in August 2026. Applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers, as well as more experienced practitioners who are keen to make a positive contribution to a forward-looking school community.

The purpose of the role is to deliver Computing across all year groups, including the senior phase. The successful postholder will play an important role in ensuring high-quality learning and teaching experiences that support progress, attainment and achievement for all learners. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the Computing curriculum, designing and delivering a progressive and engaging programme from Broad General Education through to the senior phase. They will take innovative and inclusive approaches to learning and teaching, ensuring that young people are supported to achieve success in Computing at all levels, whatever their starting point.

Applicants should be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in Computing Science (or be eligible for registration).
