Main Purpose of the Role

We currently have the following opportunity: Heath & Social Care Modern Apprenticeship (Fixed Term for 18 Months) - PKC13317.

Are you aged 16-24 and looking for an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience whilst working towards a qualification? If so, a Modern Apprenticeship in Social Care could be for you.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and support to service users, working closely with other professionals to achieve desired personal outcomes. You will assist with personal care, develop support plans/risk assessments and review these regularly with your colleagues.

Skills & Experience Required

You will be required to register with the SSSC and will progress a Level 2 Modern Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care. The successful candidate will have effective communication skills and appreciate the needs, wishes and aspirations of other people and how best to support them and their carers in the Day Opportunities setting.

This role requires you to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). If you are not yet registered, you can still apply, as long as you are willing to apply for registration within 3 months of starting with us and be registered within 6 months.

You will be required to provide this check.

A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of the above-mentioned mandatory pre-employment checks (including references) and will also include eligibility to work in the UK, qualifications and fitness to undertake the post.
