Main Purpose of the Role

Grounds Maintenance Triple Driver – PKC13097

Blairgowrie Depot, Railway Road, Blairgowrie, PH10 6NB

\\n

As part of a team, you will perform maintenance tasks throughout the Perth area such as grass and hedge cutting, pesticide application, litter collection, should have horticultural background with good plant knowledge. You may also be required to carry out other duties such as assisting with burials, street sweeping, refuse collection and any other Environment Service's tasks as and when required. You must be able to carry out the physical demands of the post. You may also be required to undertake other duties to assist other services.

You must be able to complete paperwork associated with the post eg timesheets, work schedules, maintenance records etc. A working knowledge and experience of computers/ smart phones would also be beneficial.

The Environment Service has moved from the traditional Mon-Fri shift patterns, this post is 3 days on 3 days off, 4 days on 4 days off, the hours vary during winter and summer seasons.

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and be prepared to walk carrying/ moving loads over rough ground in all weathers.  You will have a strong constitution with regards to adverse odours and may be required to work overtime.

A Cat C1E driving licence is essential with Current CPC being desirable.
