The role of the Business Manager is to support the Head Teacher in school management, ensuring the following aspects operate effectively, including Finance, HR, Information Governance, Resources, Facilities, School Events, Information Technology and Health and Safety.
Our new Business Manager will be solution focused with excellent problem solving skills and develop positive and strong relationships with our children, young people, staff and wider school family. The Business Manager will be able to manage their own wide and varied daily workload in a busy and demanding environment.
Experience of leading support services in an educational setting or other public organisation is desirable; however, we welcome applications from managers who have successfully supported teams in a busy customer facing business.
You will support the Head Teacher to lead and manage the provision of high quality support for our staff and pupils. You should be CCAB qualified or hold a Diploma in Personnel Management or Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification / Degree or equivalent in a Personnel, Administrative, ICT, Finance or Property Management related subject.
As Business Manager at Fairview School, you will be a real people person and be able to work well in a job share position with our current Business Manager. As the successful candidate, you will have an active interest in learning, education and ensuring the best outcomes for our young people, staff, community and partnerships.
Although not essential, a valid UK driving licence would be desirable as this post may require you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
