SALARY: £18,016 - £18,471 per year

HOURS: 30 hours per week

We currently have the following opportunity: Gaelic Play Assistant - PKC13520 (£18,016 - £18,471 per year, Term-time only) at Breadalbane Academy Nursery, Aberfeldy.

The successful candidate will be working closely with a team of experienced nursery professionals. You will contribute to the provision of high-quality play experiences as well as a family meal-time experience.

Skills & Experience Required

We are seeking a fun, caring and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Nursery team and contribute to maintaining the school's high standards at department and whole school level. As this post will be based in the Gaelic Medium Education nursery class, it is essential that all applicants speak fluent Gaelic. A caring and nurturing personality is required. You must also have a genuine interest in the wellbeing of children.

Whilst no entry qualifications are required, the successful candidate is expected and supported to gain a childcare qualification. This will not only support you in this post, but also allows you to potentially become a qualified Early Childhood Practitioner in due course.

You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) for Day Care of Children within 6 months of commencing employment and be responsible for maintaining annual membership.
