Main Purpose of the Role

We currently have the following opportunity: Enhanced Pupil Support Assistant (Fixed Term until 16 August 2026) - PKC13437 £5,297 - £5,765 (8 Hours per week, Term-time only) Perth Academy.

An exciting opportunity for a Pupil Support Assistant has arisen in Perth Academy’s Intensive Support Provision (ISP). You will work as part of our team to support a range of pupils with additional needs including social and emotional, learning, communication and physical; with many of our pupils presenting with Additional Support Needs. We are looking for a candidate to support our learners to access their individual curricular pathways. This role also includes supporting learners during break and lunchtimes.

Skills & Experience Required

We are seeking a nurturing practitioner who is highly motivated and will play an active role in the life and work of the ISP and wider school. You should demonstrate kindness, empathy and patience; be solution focused but also able to work as part of a team. Experience (paid/voluntary) of supporting pupils and young people with additional needs is desirable. You should be able to demonstrate confidentiality in relation to young people and their families at all times.
