We currently have the following opportunity:
Business Assistant (Fixed Term until 16 August 2026) - PKC12683
As a Business Assistant you will provide an efficient administrative and reception service for the School with a strong customer focused approach, making full use of IT equipment and standard software applications as appropriate. You will also be part of the administration team supporting with pupil attendance.
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in partnership with pupils, parents, staff, and other professionals to promote learning and wellbeing.
- Previous experience of an administrative role.
Knowledge & Experience
- IT experience in use of Microsoft Office packages.
- Ideally have a working knowledge of Integra and SEEMiS; however, training will be available if required.
- Experience of working with the public and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to deal with challenging situations in a sensitive manner.
Health & Safety
- Awareness of basic Health and Safety issues.
- First aider (training provided).
Communications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Flexibility and willingness to be involved in school community life and school events/projects.
Team Working
- Ability to work as part of a team, taking direction and working on own initiative.
