Are you passionate about inspiring young people to be active, confident, and adventurous? Do you believe that learning extends beyond the classroom and into the outdoors?

If so, at Perth Grammar School, we are looking for an exceptional Teacher of Physical Education who can motivate, challenge, and engage every learner. This is more than just a teaching role; it’s an opportunity to shape lifelong attitudes to health, wellbeing, and physical activity.

You’ll deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Broad General Education and Senior Phase, supporting pupils to develop their physical skills, teamwork, resilience, and confidence.

From traditional team sports to fitness, wellbeing, and personal challenge, you will help pupils understand the value of an active lifestyle and the positive impact it has on both physical and mental health.

In addition, you will play a key role in supporting our Outdoor Education programme, helping to create opportunities for pupils to learn, explore, and challenge themselves beyond the classroom. Whether through day activities or wider achievement opportunities, you’ll help foster independence, teamwork, and a sense of adventure.

You will also contribute to whole-school initiatives such as project-based learning and wider achievement programmes, supporting pupils to develop skills for learning, life, and work.

This post will start on 17 August 2026.
