The Depute Headteacher at Riverside Primary School will support the Headteacher in providing strong strategic leadership for the school and will play a key role in securing high quality learning experiences and positive outcomes for pupils.
The post holder will contribute to the leadership and management of Riverside Primary, which is large and diverse, promoting a culture of high expectations, inclusion and continuous improvement. They will lead and manage various aspects of learning and teaching, support staff development, and work collaboratively to move the school forward on its improvement journey.
- Proven experience of effective leadership within a primary school setting, with the ability to support, motivate, and challenge colleagues.
- Strong resilience and emotional intelligence, with the capacity to remain calm, solution focused, and professional in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- A clear track record of leading and managing high-quality learning and teaching, including monitoring, evaluation and improvement of practice.
- Ability to build and sustain excellent relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external partners, promoting a positive, inclusive school culture.
- Experience of contributing to school improvement planning, self-evaluation, and driving change to improve outcomes for learners.
