St John’s RC Academy is looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Primary teacher. Set at the top of Perth’s North Inch and overlooking the River Tay, St John's RC Academy is at the heart of the North Inch Community Campus. The 2-18 all-through school provides education for over one thousand children and young people from nursery to S6. The campus is a hub of opportunities for the local community, utilising state of the art sports and cultural facilities, offering a wide range of services for all ages.

Skills & Experience Required
You will be a teacher who can demonstrate a proven track record in achieving excellent outcomes for a range of learners. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate, engage and earn the trust of young people as you support their individual and collective needs. As the successful candidate, you must demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage with young people and show that they fully understand the values and principles of a Curriculum for Excellence.
The successful post-holder will be a creative and resourceful individual with the ability to engage, challenge and support learners as we seek to develop every child as a whole person in partnership with their families. Committed to an inclusive ethos, you will be able to enhance the learning experience of pupils through the development of engaging activities which enthuse those in your classroom.
Where your application is successful, you will be required to attain the necessary paperwork to obtain RC approval from the Catholic Church Authorities.
