Ruthvenfield Depot, Inveralmond, Perth
At Perth & Kinross Council our Apprentice Electricians assist in ensuring our housing stock is maintained, and all electrical installations are safe, compliant with electrical regulations and working efficiently for our tenants.
Working 37 hours each week, 8am -16:30 Monday to Thursday and 8am -13:00 on Fridays, your work will include:
• Planned electrical maintenance
• Day to day emergency and responsive repairs
• Electrical testing and the preparation of vacant properties for relet.
Our Housing Repairs Service operates an out of hours emergency repairs service 24 hours / 365 days per year.
You’ll work in our team of electricians and other trades staff travelling throughout the stunning Perth and Kinross area in one of our fleet vehicles so will be required to hold a valid driving licence.
As an apprentice electrician, you’ll will be encouraged and supported to gain further qualifications.
