We are looking for a Stores Person with an FLT license to join a small team in Wolverhampton. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in keeping production moving through accurate stock control, efficient picking, and excellent housekeeping across the yard and factory. Please note: This role involves manual handling, as well as outdoor work in all weather conditions (PPE provided).
Responsibilities- Maintaining accurate stock levels and updating an MRP system
- Picking kits accurately using picking tickets and the Masterplan (build order)
- Identifying and recording shortages
- Maintaining shortage spreadsheets
- Delivering kits to production bays
- Resolving Bill of Materials issues by liaising with Engineering
- Collecting empty boxes and returning unused parts to Stores
- Unloading deliveries using FLT
- Resolving issues with incorrect or missing items
- Booking in and putting stock away correctly
- Replenishing production lines
- Keeping the factory and yard tidy and free of rubbish
- Collecting bins and managing waste (metal and general)
- Breaking and maintaining wood supplies
- FLT licence (essential)
- Experience using MRP systems (SAP, M1 or similar)
- Organised, tidy and diligent
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a high-paced, ever-changing environment
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Working Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7-12
