Job Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established warehouse operation in Avonmouth. In this hands‑on role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure the safe, accurate handling of goods while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and security.
Role Details & Benefits
- Location: Avonmouth
- Full‑time, permanent position
- Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (40 hours per week)
- Pension scheme
- 28 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods in line with operational procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely system updates
- Monitor, implement, and enforce health and safety standards
- Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with security, confidentiality, and data protection policies
- Train and develop team members to achieve performance targets
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer service standards are met
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
The Right Candidate
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or comparable leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Competent in management systems and Microsoft Office

- Hold Forklift licence or willingness to train
