Overview

Location: Droitwich. Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30. Pay: From £31,400 per annum. Contact: Temp – Perm.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client based in Droitwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy multi-user warehouse, overseeing operations for a single key customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the customer’s activity, ensuring service levels, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met.

The duties of a Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Supervise a small team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
  • Overseeing goods in/out, order processing, and stock control.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site procedures.
  • Liaising with the customer and internal departments to resolve issues and manage expectations.
  • Monitor performance, identifying improvements, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support the wider warehouse operation when required.
  • Plan and allocate workload effectively to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines.

The requirements of a Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and goods in/out processes.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills, dealing with both clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Knowledge of health & safety standards and safe working practices.
