Contract Type: These roles are full time ongoing positions for the right candidates.
A well-established National Logistics Supply Chain is currently experiencing growth and seeking a number of experienced VNA drivers. There are a number of contracts operating from this location; therefore, you would be working within a very fast-paced warehouse environment and previous experience is essential.
MUST HAVE EITHER OF THE BELOW CERTIFICATES TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- In-date RTITB/ITSAAR Licence
- Expired RTITB/ITSSAR license, plus an in-house license to cover the period during which the accredited license has expired.
Your duties will include:
- Navigating narrow aisles to move, stack, or retrieve pallets at height.
- Ensuring correct placement in designated storage areas.
- Keeping accurate records of stock movement using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Following health & safety guidelines to prevent accidents, including daily equipment checks.
- Picking pallets from high racking.
- Other warehouse duties which may include manual handling, pallet wrapping, and housekeeping to maintain a clean workspace.
An ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Must have solid previous experience operating VNA or MAN UP vehicles. At least 1 year recent experience.
- Must have current valid certificate.
- Must have worked within a busy logistics industry and have worked to pick rates previously.
- Ideally has used RDT's.
All operators will have to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to their assessment.
