Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator in Swansea.
Role Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will manage all site logistics activities to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery. This includes overseeing freight, transport, production and shipment scheduling, customer dispatch portals, and the PGI process, while supporting manufacturing requirements and controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plant logistics, freight (including export), and transportation
- Schedule production and shipments to meet customer demand
- Operate customer dispatch portals and manage the PGI process
- Coordinate subcontracted outwork and transport
- Maintain logistics documentation and support continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Experience in logistics, scheduling, or production planning
- Proficient in SAP ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
Pay: Β£20.45 per hour
Shifts: 6am β 6pm, 4 on 4 off. If a shift falls on Saturday, finish is 16:30.
