Salary: £33,755 - £39,547 FTE – DOE + Car Allowance

Hours: Part-time 22.5 hours a week

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker on the Isle of Wight. The role offers a hybrid way of working, with some work completed from home, and at the Hub in Newport, as well as attending face-to-face meetings with the foster carers across the island. There will be a requirement to occasionally attend the Registered Office in Salisbury for Team Meetings and our Fostering Panel.

You will directly support our foster carers with realistic caseloads, which enables a higher level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention. As a supervising social worker, you will be working within a trauma-informed practice model that is continually evolving; you will support recruitment events and complete Form F Assessments.

A supervising social worker needs to be a team player and want to achieve the best possible outcome for all our foster carers and children. You will need to be registered with Social Work England and have a formal social work qualification. The role also requires you to have access to a car for completing visits and the right to work in the UK.
