I am working with a consulting client that supports public and private sector organisations in the planning and delivery of development schemes. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure and development-led projects.
This is a hybrid position based in Guildford, offering a balance between office collaboration and remote working.
The RoleThe Senior Engineer will play a key role in project planning and execution, applying technical expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities- Leading the design and delivery of development-focused engineering projects
- Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Designing and analysing infrastructure solutions using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
- Managing projects to ensure programme, budget, and client expectations are met
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Presenting technical information clearly to clients, planning authorities, and other third parties
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong technical background with project delivery experience
- Demonstrable experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
