I am working with a consulting client that supports public and private sector organisations in the planning and delivery of development schemes. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure and development-led projects.

This is a hybrid position based in Guildford, offering a balance between office collaboration and remote working.

The Role

The Senior Engineer will play a key role in project planning and execution, applying technical expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the design and delivery of development-focused engineering projects
  • Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
  • Designing and analysing infrastructure solutions using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
  • Managing projects to ensure programme, budget, and client expectations are met
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Presenting technical information clearly to clients, planning authorities, and other third parties
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong technical background with project delivery experience
  • Demonstrable experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
