A respected national logistics company based in Robertsbridge is seeking a proactive and experienced Night Transport Supervisor to support and oversee their busy night operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transport knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to lead a night-shift team to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient running of the operation.
The Role
- Sunday to Thursday night shifts
- Friday availability required to cover holidays (paid as overtime)
- Overseeing all night-time transport activity
- Managing driver briefs and debriefs
- Monitoring route progress and addressing any issues that arise
- Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation, including Working Time Directive and driver hours
- Liaising with drivers, planners, and the wider management team
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Supporting a safe, efficient, and well-organised night operation
