This architecturally driven, independently owned design studio are seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join their team. They offer a generous package, with flexible working, fully supported career development and the opportunity to work on, develop and lead some outstanding building structures projects in London alongside the Director.
Responsibilities
- You will act as the lead consultant on projects providing C&S representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team.
- Ensure that the C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.
- Apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures and manage the preparation of such calculations.
- Demonstrate the ability to break down complex structures into individual components to allow for element design and communicate this to colleagues.
- Represent the company at both internal and external meetings.
Qualifications
- Desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of structural engineering design on existing structures and mentor junior staff.
- Essential to have a real passion for architecture and excellent project delivery.
- An interest in heritage and conservation projects would also be of great interest.
