Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing
Location:Evesham, WR11
Possible Working Hours:

  • AM Shift
  • PM Shift

Pay Rate:

  • Starting from £13.63 per hour (reviewed after 12 weeks)
  • £20.45 per hour – Overtime after 40 hours
  • £27.26 per hour – Weekend overtime and bank holidays

As aProduction Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations on the production floor. You’ll lead a team of up to 30 staff, ensuring that daily targets are met while upholding the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in food production and team leadership to join a forward-thinking business with real career progression potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production operations across multiple shifts
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of up to 30 production staff
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet targets
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  • Conduct daily team briefings and performance reviews
  • Train and mentor new and existing staff to ensure skill development
  • Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimisedowntime
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, staff attendance, and incidents
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Support machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role
  • Proven background in food production or manufacturing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with the following machinery is an advantage:

  • Ilpra Tray Sealer
  • PFM Bagging Machine
  • MBP Multi-Head weigher
  • Groba Cutting Machine
