Role:Production Operator(Team Leader Opportunity)
Location:Dudley
Hours of work:Monday to Thursday- 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday- 7.30am to 3.30pm
Hourly Rate:£13.34ph (increasing with training DOE)
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced sorter/ production operator, to join our client based in Dudley. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop and expand their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site operations and support Manager.
- Drive company van to transport products between sites.
- Ensure all products and processes meet company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry using Excel.
- Carry out basic administrative tasks – once training is completed.
- Motivate and support co-workers.
- Uphold and enforce safety procedures and company protocols.
- Quality inspection
- Picking and packing of products in preparation for dispatch and delivery.
- Elements of manual handling – NO heavy lifting.
Successful candidates will have:
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential– driving company van is a requirement).
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Computer Literate—Microsoft office Packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Physically fit – elements of manual handling involved.
- Organised and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Prior Team Leader experience is desirable but not essential.
