Our client is seeking a Production Assistant to join their busy production team. The role involves assisting in the production of glassware and other laboratory consumables manufactured. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and organised individual to work in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Shrink wrapping and labelling of products
- Preparing packaging and product shipments
- Cleaning and preparing products and work areas
- Tube capping and boxing
- Assisting with stock control of raw materials
- Operating pedestrian lift truck to load/unload products
- Assisting with incoming deliveries and transferring goods to a secondary storage facility when required
- Working to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
- Following the methods, processes, and procedures of the Company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with GMP standards (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to keep concise and accurate records
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Ideally educated to GCSE level in Science and Mathematics or equivalent qualification
