Pertemps has a fantastic opportunity for a Process Operator to join one of our leading manufacturing clients on a Temporary Ongoing basis. The role involves operating a range of machines, including simple line and palletisers, supporting the production line for hygiene products, and manufacturing those products according to fixed specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
Medical screenings will be required prior to interview.
Duties include:
- Working within the company's strict health and safety standards.
- Running the machine, monitoring the process, and making adjustments according to Continuous Improvement Systems.
- Ordering and preparing raw materials or products for palletising and installing them on the machine.
- Maintaining communication with previous and next shifts, as well as with other personnel involved in machine operation.
- Ensuring product quality by regular checks against specifications, rejecting or blocking products if necessary.
- Completing all required documentation and data entry during production.
Hourly rate: £15.38 (Continental 5-shift pattern)
We are seeking experienced candidates who have worked in similar roles and can demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple machines. Due to the location and shift times, access to personal transport is essential.
