I am currently representing an excellent medium sized M&E provider who are in need of an AC installation team to join a growing team. The ideal candidate would be based between the Oxford, Swindon, Reading triangle but the client is also happy to see CVs outside of these areas. They have been successfully operating for over 20 years providing high end commercial installation projects across a big list of high end clients including offices, forensic science labs and so on.

The AC install team currently stands at 6 and due to growth need another engineer to join the team. The client is also happy to look at junior / intermediate level engineers that are looking to gain more experience in AC Installation works.

THE ROLE:

AC installation engineer working across VRV’s, VRF’s, splits, multi-splits, twin splits, ventilation, AHU’s and ductwork. Area of cover being from Oxford and South. Lots of work on the M4 corridor to Bristol, M3 to Southampton and occasional London projects. Any multi-skilled engineers are desirable i.e. plumbing qualifications as they offer full mechanical install packages. To take part in a call out rota which is 1 in 6 – very rare and frequent calls. Overtime paid x2.5 and a minimum of 4 hours.

Salary & Package:
  • £45 - 46K for AC bias engineers
  • £48 - 50K + for multi-skilled engineers
  • Company Van & Fuel card – with private use
  • 7.30 - 4 Monday to Friday
  • Some overtime available in week at enhanced rates
  • Travel paid from when engineer leaves in mornings – travel home is on an allocation depending on how far they are from home on last site
  • Starting 20 days holiday + bank – 1 day a year added on for each year of service up to 25
