A well-regarded law firm in Norwich is looking for a Criminal Paralegal with 1+ years’ experience to join its busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal with a genuine interest in criminal law to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced solicitors on a wide range of matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide vital support across a varied caseload of criminal law matters.
- Assist solicitors with the preparation of cases from police station through to trial.
- Attend police stations and courts when required.
- Draft legal documents, statements, review prosecution evidence and prepare case bundles.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, courts and external agencies.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Experience as a paralegal in criminal law within a firm renowned for their criminal offerings.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Police Station Accredited (Ideal).
- Demonstrate a clear interest in progressing a long-term career in criminal defence.
