Pertemps are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our client within the plastic manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on developing new business opportunities and driving growth in a technical, B2B environment.
Key Duties
- Identify, qualify and convert new sales opportunities
- Negotiate commercial terms using standard die and stocking agreements, ensuring terms are favourable for the business
- Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and work closely with the Marketing Manager to target new markets
- Represent the business at exhibitions and industry events
- Manage all opportunities within the CRM system, recording progress, setting follow-up tasks, and uploading relevant documents such as drawings
- Provide regular updates on leads and prospects to the Sales Director
Requirements:
- Previous experience within plastic manufacturing
- Minimum of 5 years’ B2B sales experience
- Strong track record of achieving challenging sales targets
- Full UK driving licence
