Machine Operator – Night Shift (CNC/Engineering)
Location: Lancaster
Pay: £16.10 – £17.70 per hour (including shift allowance)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7pm -7am
Pertemps are recruiting experienced Machine Operators to join a brand-new night shift team at a respected and expanding engineering company in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong machining knowledge who are keen to develop their skills with ongoing training, career progression and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of CNC machinery, including lathes and saws (training provided)
- Work from technical drawings and maintain high quality standards
- Ensure a safe, clean and well organised work environment
- Operate independently during night shift hours
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong machining knowledge (CNC experience desirable, but training will be provided)
- Reliable, punctual and confident working night shifts
