What you’ll be doing as a Project Manager Apprentice:
- Maintain the high velocity and delivery quality of our diverse innovation portfolio.
- Proactively address future leadership gaps by providing dedicated entry-level project management capacity.
- Support the innovation PMO in managing critical projects.
- Receive training in the unique complexities of managing Engineering Innovation projects, from initial R&D concept through to minimum viable product (MVP) delivery.
Where you’ll work:
- Location: Reading STW RG2 0RP
- Hours: 36‑hour week over four working days plus one training day.
- Start date: September 2026
- Training and qualification: Study with the University of Cumbria, a leading UK Project Management provider, through weekly online tuition and occasional face‑to‑face sessions in Lancaster.
- Qualification achieved: Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard - BSc Hons Project Management and APM PMQ qualifications.
- Duration: Permanent contract with a 48‑month structured programme.
What you should bring to the role:
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 9‑4 / A‑C)
- 3 A-Levels or Equivalent Level 3 BTEC.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
