What you’ll be doing as a Project Manager Apprentice:

  • Maintain the high velocity and delivery quality of our diverse innovation portfolio.
  • Proactively address future leadership gaps by providing dedicated entry-level project management capacity.
  • Support the innovation PMO in managing critical projects.
  • Receive training in the unique complexities of managing Engineering Innovation projects, from initial R&D concept through to minimum viable product (MVP) delivery.

Where you’ll work:

  • Location: Reading STW RG2 0RP
  • Hours: 36‑hour week over four working days plus one training day.
  • Start date: September 2026
  • Training and qualification: Study with the University of Cumbria, a leading UK Project Management provider, through weekly online tuition and occasional face‑to‑face sessions in Lancaster.
  • Qualification achieved: Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard - BSc Hons Project Management and APM PMQ qualifications.
  • Duration: Permanent contract with a 48‑month structured programme.

What you should bring to the role:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 9‑4 / A‑C)
  • 3 A-Levels or Equivalent Level 3 BTEC.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
