About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and resilient Duty Careline Out of Hours Officer to support a busy emergency Careline service. You will provide both call handling and emergency visiting support to vulnerable residents, responding to urgent situations and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users at all times. You'll be responsible for the operation of the Careline & Emergency Control Room during core hours, with the flexibility to work outside standard office times when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and alarms promptly and professionally
- Provide on-site emergency visits when required
- Monitor and operate the Careline Control Room systems
- Assess risk and elevate incidents appropriately
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Deliver excellent customer care to vulnerable residents
Requirements
- Experience in emergency response, housing support, community safety or similar
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Confident working out of hours and on site
- Strong IT and control room system awareness (training provided)
- Must have a valid manual drivers license
