Role Overview
Our client seeks a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support their warehouse operations on an ongoing temporary basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful individual will play a key role in ensuring spare parts are accurately received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking incoming stock deliveries
- Accurately booking in and storing parts within the warehouse
- Picking and packing customer orders to a high standard
- Preparing orders for despatch and liaising with courier collections
- Maintaining accurate stock levels in storage
- General warehouse housekeeping and adherence to health & safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team during busy periods
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Basic IT skills for stock systems and order processing
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- FLT licence beneficial but not essential
