Overview
Are you a HGV Class 1 Night Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work in Tamworth? Want to work with one of the UK\βs leading supply chain logistics providers? Working within the automotive sector with us, long term opportunities are available. Night shifts are available Monday β Friday from 21:30 β 00:30 start times.
Responsibilities
- Making deliveries & collections nationwide of automotive parts to secure locations
- Upto a maximum of 15 drops per day with some of the drops in the same places
- Typical start times 21:30 β 00:30 with stable working patterns
- 8-12 hour shifts (Minimum 8 hours paid)
- 5 shifts per week
- Handling Roll cage, loose items and some palletised goods
- Site is based in Dordon with easy access from the M42 Junction 10
Requirements
- Have at least 6 months C+E experience
- Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 2 years
- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
Pay
HGV Class 1 Night Drivers PAYE rates of pay: Monday to Friday Nights β Β£18.50 per hour

- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tachograph laws and Highway Code required)
- Full site and safe systems of work induction
- Vehicle familiarisation
- Practical driving assessment
