Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm
Job Responsibilities of the Fleet Administrator:
- Fleet Compliance: Co-ordinating all necessary vehicle maintenance and administration of the fleet
- Booking vehicles for MOTs, PMIs, LOLERs, Tacho checks and taxation
- Liaise with authorised suppliers to book in vehicles for workshop attention
- Liaising with hirers to ensure planned maintenance is followed up
- Arrange service level agreements on long term hires
- Assist with daily workshop planning
- Recording vehicle defects and following up for resolution prior to hire or continued use
- Assist with breakdowns, liaising between service agents and hiring company for progress
- Assist in ordering parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Accurately entering data on maintenance system
- Place rental bookings to cover vehicles off the road
Rental Desk:
- Assisting with customer rental enquiries
- Managing inbound calls
- Coordinating rental bookings with maintenance planning
Administration:
- Ensure all weekly service sheets are received
- Forwarding PMI records to hiring Co. for operator licence compliance
- Processing purchase invoices for Purchase Ledger entry
- Identifying rechargeable items for billing
- Sending estimates for repairs, as rehearsed with Rental manager
- Audit vehicle records to ensure compliance
- Highlight warranty issues to minimise fleet costs
Job Requirements of the Fleet Administrator:
- Commercial vehicle background is an advantage
- Minimum 2yrs' fleet service experience
- Must hold a valid UK driving license with license checks performed annually

Health & Safety:
- Control movement of visitors when on-site
- Take responsibility for own health and safety as well as the safety of others through your own actions
- Conduct all tasks in a considered and careful way with due regard to Health & Safety

- To attend work regularly as per contract terms
- Be on site and available to start work at the agreed start time
