Sheridan Maine are excited to be partnering with an established organisation in the Southampton area who are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their head office accounts department.
This is great opportunity to join a leading business on a long term contract basis with the possibility for future career progression!
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Performing group balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing financial statements
- Liaising with external auditors
- Ensuring the accurate delivery of month end close
- Reviewing accounting procedures and identifying areas of improvements
- Managing stakeholders and assisting with queries
- Producing group financial reporting
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Part qualified or qualified Accountant ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT )
- Good technical accounting knowledge
- Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines
- Prior experience of ERPs eg Oracle, SAP
- Intermediate level Excel skills
