Are you a Graduate Civil Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking consultancy? We are seeking an ambitious Civil Engineer to join a Civil Engineering team based in Exeter. You’ll be joining a growing consultancy, where you have the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience and work with some of the industry’s best professionals.
The role:
- You will gain experience in every technical discipline across the business, including detailed highway & drainage design, 3D site modelling, plot engineering, utilities strategy, flood risk assessment, foul and surface water drainage strategy, and transport planning.
- Undertake design for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design.
- Represent the company at client, contractor, and local authority meetings.
- Design and approvals for S278 and S38 highway schemes with design capability when supervised by senior staff.
- Working with Civils 3D, AutoCAD and drainage modelling software such as FLOW or Microdrainage.
The ideal candidate will either be a graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering, or currently working through their final year of the degree. You will have good written and spoken communication skills and any experience with AutoCAD would be a bonus.
