TITLE: Employment Lawyer (Workplace Investigator)

THE ROLE:
A Top 50 law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its growing team as a Workplace Investigator. This unique and specialist role is focused on conducting independent, high-quality investigations into complex and sensitive employment-related matters including disciplinary and grievance issues, discrimination, whistleblowing, and conduct concerns. The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining fairness and compliance within complex workplace environments, delivering clear, robust reports and recommendations.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in employment law, or experienced senior HR professionals with strong investigatory backgrounds. You will have a thorough understanding of employment legislation and a practical, solutions-focused mindset. Experience of handling investigations into issues involving senior personnel and multi-layered employment law matters is essential. The ability to remain impartial, communicate clearly and sensitively, and manage competing priorities is key. Exceptional drafting skills are required to produce clear and concise reports. Experience with regulated sectors or public sector investigations would be an advantage.
