Educational Psychologist (Locum)
Location: Redcar and Cleveland
Hours: Working pattern can be negotiated
Rate: Β£600 per day
Role Overview
We are seeking qualified and experienced locum Educational Psychologists to work flexibly to complete psychological advice as part of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA). The working pattern is negotiable and typically equates to two days per psychological advice, including assessment and report writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete psychological advice for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments
- Undertake assessment of children and young people within their educational and wider context
- Produce high-quality psychological advice reports within agreed timescales
- Work in line with statutory guidance and local authority requirements
- Contribute to quality assurance processes
Working Arrangements
- Flexible working pattern, equating to two days per psychological advice
- Five-week turnaround per case to allow for quality assurance and submission
- Face-to-face working is preferred; remote working may be considered
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Educational Psychologist
- Registered with the HCPC
- Experience completing psychological advice for EHCP assessments
