We’re recruiting a Production Technician for our Coventry-based client. This is a temporary opportunity with an immediate start, early Friday finish, and full training provided in a small, friendly team environment.

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Friday – 8:00am to 2:00pm
  • 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: £13.85/hour

Key Duties:

  • Inspecting returned instruments for service/repair
  • Modifying and rebuilding units to customer specifications
  • Calibrating instruments using specialist tools and gas systems
  • Assembling sub-units for stock and service use
  • Following job instructions and maintaining safety in a lab environment
  • Performing quality checks on outgoing products
  • Adapting to production priorities as needed

Candidate Profile:

  • Able to follow clear written and verbal instructions
  • Problem-solver with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable with manual and electronic tools
  • Soldering skills (through-hole or surface mount) preferred
  • Hands-on interest or background in electronics
  • Strong team player, proactive and self-motivated
