We’re recruiting a Production Technician for our Coventry-based client. This is a temporary opportunity with an immediate start, early Friday finish, and full training provided in a small, friendly team environment.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Friday – 8:00am to 2:00pm
- 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.85/hour
Key Duties:
- Inspecting returned instruments for service/repair
- Modifying and rebuilding units to customer specifications
- Calibrating instruments using specialist tools and gas systems
- Assembling sub-units for stock and service use
- Following job instructions and maintaining safety in a lab environment
- Performing quality checks on outgoing products
- Adapting to production priorities as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Able to follow clear written and verbal instructions
- Problem-solver with good attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual and electronic tools
- Soldering skills (through-hole or surface mount) preferred
- Hands-on interest or background in electronics
- Strong team player, proactive and self-motivated
