An established & growing company in the building services sector is seeking a Sales Executive to join their dynamic team in Coulsdon. This newly created role offers the opportunity to take ownership of lead generation and play a key part in driving sales growth.
The Role: Working alongside a team of Business Development Managers, the Sales Executive will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and engaging prospects, with the primary goal of booking high-quality appointments and identifying new sales opportunities. This role suits someone with a strategic, proactive sales mindset who enjoys building pipelines rather than simply working through call lists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and qualify leads using LinkedIn, CRM data, and other platforms
- Make outbound calls to prospect, lapsed, and existing customers
- Engage with consultants, contractors, and decision-makers to understand needs and qualify opportunities
- Book well-qualified appointments for the Business Development team
- Maintain accurate records of activity, conversations, and outcomes in the CRM
- Work with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and lead quality
- Monitor response rates and conversion data to shape best practice
- Share market insight and customer feedback to support wider sales strategy
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation, telemarketing, or inside sales
- Consultative, strategic approach to sales and qualification
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working to targets and KPIs with a proactive attitude
- Experience using CRM systems, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the building services or construction sector is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational and data management skills
The Package:
- Up to £30,000 basic + realistic OTE up to £40,000
- Commission per qualified appointment booked (£15 per appointment)
- Participation in the company’s Growth by Sharing Profit Bonus Scheme
