Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 20:00 PM - 06:00 (45 hours per week)
Location: Covering sites across Cheshire, North Wales, and Merseyside

Our client has been awarded a long-term contract directly with Tesco and Sainsbury's stores to provide cleaning and merchandising staff. Pertemps is seeking reliable, long-term temporary staff for this contract, which requires deep cleaning services every 9 months across 11 key regions. Workers will be deployed in teams of either 2 or 4, depending on the needs of the specific store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep Cleaning Preparation: Remove stock from fridges and temporarily store food items in chilled areas. Remove shelving to prepare areas for cleaning.
- Cleaning Tasks: Jet-wash and sterilize fridge cases, ensuring all food and drink residue is removed.
- General Maintenance: Perform cleaning duties while the store is closed, including any required deep cleaning maintenance.
- Teamwork & Communication: Work effectively in teams (either 2 or 4 members). Liaise with team members and management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous cleaning experience is an advantage; however, full training will be provided.
- Physical Ability: Must be capable of performing cleaning tasks.
- Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites.
- PPE: Safety boots and Hi Vis clothing must be worn.
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on thorough and effective cleaning.
