Our client is a rapidly growing FM provider offering a full range of services and have a new opportunity for an Air Conditioning Install Engineer to join their projects and installation division.
Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Air Conditioning Install Engineer to take on a mobile role covering a well-organised London patch. You’ll be carrying out installation, commissioning, and upgrade works on a range of air conditioning systems across commercial office space, retail, hospitality, and light commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission a variety of air conditioning systems (split systems, multi-split, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs, etc.)
- Pipework installation including brazing and pressure testing
- Electrical connections and control wiring (within competence)
- Ensure all installations are completed in line with manufacturer specifications, F-Gas regulations, and health & safety standards
- Carry out snagging, testing, and handover documentation
- Keep accurate records using PDA and company systems
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and represent the company professionally on-site
- Occasional support to service or breakdown teams when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience installing commercial air conditioning systems
- Valid F-Gas qualification – essential
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent – desirable
- Good understanding of electrical and control systems
- Ability to read and work from drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary & Package
- £40,000 – £50,000 basic (depending on experience and skill level).
- Your total weekly hours are calculated on a door-to-door basis minus one hour each day for travel.
- Should your weekly hours exceed 50 hours (door-to-door) any additional hours worked will be paid at 1.5 of your normal hourly rate.
- Flexible early finish – paid full day if the job is done early and cleared with the office.
- Regular overtime opportunities paid at enhanced rates.
- Company van & fuel card.

- 21 days holiday + bank holidays.
