Blue Badge Fraud Investigator, Gloucestershire

Pay rate: £350 per day

Contract role – 2 days per week

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Blue Badge Fraud Investigator in Gloucestershire. Candidates should have prior experience in a similar role.

We are seeking a Contractor to undertake Blue Badge Fraud (BBF) activities and investigations on behalf of the Council. Responsibilities include:

  1. Collecting data on badge usage in Gloucestershire through spot checks and compliance visits, including analysis of usage patterns such as times, days, weekends, and locations.
  2. Determining if the badge holder is infirm, in a home, deceased, or residing locally.
  3. Identifying patterns of abuse or locating lost or stolen badges, building cases, and taking appropriate action.
  4. Efforts to prevent abuse of disabled parking entitlements by unauthorized use of blue badges.
  5. Investigating the misuse of badges, especially when the disabled person is in a different location, and preparing cases for prosecution in collaboration with the Council Legal Services Team, Parking Manager, and Trading Standards Team.
