I am recruiting an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a leading manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong electrical bias to support production through effective maintenance and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and guide maintenance engineers and TPM engineers in daily tasks
- Collaborate closely with technical support, quality, and manufacturing teams
- Promote safe working practices and maintain a clean, healthy working environment
- Work with specialist equipment and support new machine introductions
- Carry out routine, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on automated production lines
- Perform fault finding across electrical, robotics, PLC, HMI, servo motors, and drives
- Lead continuous improvement activities on production equipment
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years’ maintenance experience in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Strong CNC experience (mechanical & electrical)
- PLC trained with experience in Fanuc robots and servo motors/drives
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- HNC Electrical/Electronic qualification or higher
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work on own initiative and collaboratively within a team
- Awareness of health and safety regulations
- Willing to work a double day shift pattern, with weekend and shutdown maintenance support as needed
