The Role

You will teach History across KS3 and KS4. Plan well sequenced units that build secure knowledge of periods, causes and consequences, and historical interpretations. Teach disciplinary writing, source analysis and exam technique throughout the year. Use assessment to identify gaps and run short, targeted interventions. Mark to department policy and provide timely feedback. Contribute to shared schemes, enrichment and moderation. Maintain calm routines with consistent use of the behaviour system.
