Overview
Position: Administrator
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 Hours (flexible 7.5 shifts available between 7.30am-6.00pm)
Pay Rate: £13.66ph
Location: Bath
Duration: 2 months – until end of March.
We’re looking for an organised Administrator/Typist to support the clinical team by providing efficient secretarial and administrative assistance, ensuring accurate and timely handling of patient information.
Key Responsibilities
- Type and distribute clinic letters and reports using digital dictation/audio typing.
- Maintain patient records and case note tracking systems accurately.
- Use electronic systems for correspondence, clinic management, and results retrieval.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, post sorting, and document management.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Trust policies.
- Support smooth department operation, liaising with senior staff as needed.
- Attend relevant training including conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Experience in a medical or secretarial role preferred.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Discretion and professionalism handling confidential information.
