Seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Operative to support the production and assembly of engine transport stands. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products to specification, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble engine transportation stands to specification, ensuring they are ready for dispatch.
- Receive deliveries and store products within the facility.
- Initial visual inspection of engine stands and products delivered.
- Conduct quality checks and product testing as required.
- General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the workshop area.
- Provide on-site assembly and support services at customer locations across the UK.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Operate forklifts, lifting equipment, and other mechanical tools safely.
- Follow manual handling and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.
- Proven knowledge and experience in assembly and sub-assembly operations.
- Previous experience using hand-held tools.
- Previous knowledge of mechanical engineering processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- FLT experience is desirable.
- Overhead crane experience would be an advantage.
- UK Driving licence required.
