Islington Learning Disabilities partnership (ILDP). Experienced Senior Social Worker passionate about supporting young adults through transition to join our Progression to Adulthood Team, working with individuals aged 18–25 with complex needs, including autism, mental health conditions, and neurodiversity. These young people do not have a diagnosis of Learning Disability. This is a case holding position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on complex casework, safeguarding, and transition planning.
  • Undertake court work and prepare reports for hearings and DoLS assessments.
  • Supervise and support team members, ensuring high-quality practice.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary partners to promote independence and person-centred care.
  • Strong knowledge of autism, mental health, neurodiversity, and relevant legislation (Care Act, MCA).
  • Proven ability to supervise staff and lead practice development.

Salary £36 per hour
