Sheridan Maine is looking for an Accounts Senior to join awell-regarded accountancy firm in North London. This is a varied and hands-on role with responsibility for leading audit assignments while also managing accounts preparation for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Senior:
- Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion.
- Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Assist in the preparation of corporation tax computations.
- Supervise and support junior members of the audit and accounts team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards.
- Liaise with clients to gather information and deliver clear updates.
What we’re looking for:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist with strong relevant experience.
- Recent practice experience in both audit and accounts.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles.
