Immediate Start. The working day starts at 6am, standard 8 hour day guaranteed, with runs/days running longer dependant on delivery locations.
Our client is a much-loved brand, and due to an increase in demand, we are looking for 7.5tn Drivers to support their busy operation based in Accrington, delivering all over the North /North‑West.
About the 7.5tn Driver role
You will be responsible for delivering beds and mattresses, carrying into customers homes and supporting with bed building. As a 7.5tn Driver, you will be an integral part of the business, spending a lot of time working a team of 2 or 3 on the road. We are looking for drivers with a ‘can‑do & friendly’ attitude as interaction with our customers is all part of the service. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle.
This is a physically demanding role, with heavy loads in and out of properties, so being fit and well is a must.
Requirements for a 7.5tn Driver include:
- All candidates must have held their 7.5tn licence for 2 years
- 180 days experience in 7.5tn vehicle
- Valid in‑date CPC
- No more than 6 points on licence (licence checks will apply)
- No more than 3 Tacho infringements
